Trending Towards Full-Stack Development

October 31, 2017 by Rick Hernandez Leave a Comment

Dear Friend,

Full-Stack development is in full swing! Having the ability to understand what is going on at each part of a Software Project is vitally important to the success of your Software project.

This does not mean that you have to be a “jack of all trades” but instead be resourceful and be able to understand what happens at each of the phases of your Software Project.

If you are a consultant, freelancer, entrepreneur, or an agency developer you understand the value of being a Full-Stack Developer.

If you are working in the enterprise you might be on the fence if you should learn an entire stack, all that work. Who has the time…

Being a multiskilled developer gives you the ability to be a valuable team member instead of being a drain on your team.

But Rick!

Being a full-stack developer is a jack of all trades master of none

Having the skills to learn new skills on the fly is what defines a Full-Stack Developer.

That’s where you really do shine as a Full-Stack Developer because you have the ability to navigate an entire system and be able to go deep and focus on the most pressing problems that your team is facing keeping the project moving instead of halting and not getting anything done.

The trend towards Full-Stack Development is not stopping anytime soon. Being a Full-Stack Developer gives you the power to be able to create and launch an entire application all on your own.

That’s empowering!

You don’t have to wait for permission or think it’s just too difficult to get things going your self.

Just pull up your favorite text editor and get to it.

The best advice I can give you to get going with becoming a Full-Stack Developer is to choose a single stack and go 100% in with that tech stack.

Don’t try to learn multiple things, just focus and get your application completed with that Stack.

The stack that I recommend for new people starting out is the MEAN Stack because it gives you the ability to use one language JavaScript this way you can focus all your efforts on the problem at hand instead of battling with the programming language to do something specific.

JavaScript is a very forgiving programming language

If you want to know the EXACT steps to become a Full-Stack Developer I’m putting together a FREE webinar that goes over each part of the MEAN Stack using JavaScript.
