Placement Rates for an Online Coding Course?

March 1, 2017 by Rick Hernandez Leave a Comment

I wanted to go ahead and answer a question here that I got from Dan. He has a really interesting question, so let’s go ahead and get into it.

Dan is writing all the way from Australia. Just to make sure I get everything here correctly, Dan, I’m located here in the States. Based on our law here in our government, we have something called a Federal Trade Commission, also referred to as FTC.

Whatever I’m going to tell you right now, whatever I’m going to reference anything here, I’m just being a hundred percent honest here with you.

“Do you have stats on people from other countries that have enrolled in your courses that are employed now?”

Due to FTC, I cannot disclose any of the current students that are going through the course right now, and I cannot disclose if they’re currently employed, and I cannot disclose if they’re currently employed in the profession that the course teaches. This is due to FTC compliance

But what I can tell you here is that right now we’re going through the second cohort of students going through the course, and they’re expected to be done with the course around May, mid-May, late May, to be able to complete all the assignments and be pretty much done with the course.

Now in the course actually do include live calls, so if you have any specific questions for me, you can actually enter the live call, and not only interact with me, but interact with everybody else inside the course, and we get to answer all the questions that you might have about specifically finding a job, going as a freelancer, whatever your question might be specifically. As far as work-related questions, we can go ahead and answer those in the live calls.

Again, I can’t share any specific numbers with you, just as far as how many people are actually employed, because of the course it is a really intensive course, and it does require a couple things from you, so I can’t really disclose those numbers with you.

This question is here from Dan in Australia. Thanks so much for writing in this question, and if you have any questions for me, you can go at codewithintent.com/question, and hit me up there. I’ll be happy to answer any questions that you might have for me.

Talk to you soon,

Rick H.
