How to install VirtualBox in OS X El Capitan

OSX

Start by going over to the main site for VirtualBox Downloads and selecting the following option VirtualBox 5.0 for OS X hosts this starts a download with a file name VirtualBox-5.*.dmg double-click the file and follow the setup wizard. This will require your machine to restart.

After the reboot open the program and go to VirtualBox and click on Preferences. Next, click on network, click on Host-only Networks, and click on add host-only network(Ins)

DHCP Server

Now, click on edit host-only network(Ins). The adapter settings should only be modified if you have subnetworks to other machines. Otherwise, the default settings are fine.

Host only

On the DHCP Server tab make sure that this option is disabled.
