How to get rid of Toxic people on Facebook

July 13, 2017 by Rick Hernandez Leave a Comment

Hello Friend,

Yesterday, I opened up The Full-Stack Developer Facebook group to the public and it has been interesting to see all of the new members sign up.

Just as with anything in life some will come along and will want to trash the community and lay it to waste.

Leave it as a no man’s land.

Yesterday was no exception.

A new member signed up, and let’s call him Teyansh (Not his real name).

Teyansh thought it would be a great idea to post a link to his UpWork profile and try and see if he could get work from the group.

Hey, I get it! Teyansh wants to get paid.

Teyansh was willing to go out of his way and post on the group linking people to his upwork profile.

When all of this was happing I was deep in the zzz sleeping.

When I woke up this morning immediately I got my ban hammer and removed Teyansh from the group.

Deleted his post and banned him from the group.

I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR!

You shouldn’t either.

I demand excellence from everyone around me I see the potential in people, I see the opportunities waiting to happen.

Everything that I create from my products to my client work, I want to create a place that allows others to grow and move them forward in life.

If this includes getting rid of a few bad apples so be it.

Talk soon,

Rick H.
