We went ahead and finished up the first version here of my design that I have. As you can tell, I’m no designer.
I understand the process of putting CSS together and making this a reality, as far as actual color relationships, knowing things between what colors represent what, all that fun stuff and the psychology behind colors, I’m by far no expert in that. But, what I do know here is that, if we can get leads through this process, we can qualify those leads. And that’s essentially what matters. I can make this entire page here in just basic HTML, basic black-and-white text and it will still get me leads. Think about this.
It doesn’t even have to be pretty, right? It doesn’t have to have all these bells and whistles and all this CSS and all these transitions. And all these things floating in and out of the screen. Right? This here, if it’s just in plain text, will work. And that’s what we’re going for. We’re going for stuff that works. We’re not going for pretty. We’re not going for being creative. We’re not going for any of that. We’re going to things that get’s us, clients.
I’ve gone ahead and created this little demo for you. What I’m going to be doing here is we’re going to be heading over to my computer from now on. And we’re going to be writing some code where we’ll be creating a template for WordPress and we’ll be taking this idea here, and creating a template for us to be able to use within WordPress, for us to be able to add our projects we be able to create all these things we talked about here.
Go ahead and check out the rest of the blog posts in this series and hopefully, you’re following along with these posts. It’s gonna be pretty fun, putting this entire thing together.
Talk to you soon,
Rick H.
