You have the daunting task to create a web application that will inspire and motivate a new generation of developers. Where to start? The application will need to be super easy to use and be able to serve a large set of data to a user(images, videos, files). Don’t worry you don’t have to reinvent an entirely new LMS(learning management system) just a valid solution that will in power and individual to get quickly up and going with the MEAN stack in web development.
The application will need to be able to restrict each of the paid users to only have access to the content for 30 days and we need to be able to accept payments and generate custom keys for each of those payments so the user is not required to create an account to login. The user will just simply enter there activation code that gets them validated on the date of purchase. The system should allow the user to email, and download their private key and be able to get auto logged in once the payment has cleared through the payment gateway. Did I forget to mention that you have to integrate an existing sales page and you must use the newest angular material framework to build your GUI components and merge in all the existing content that the application will be using.
Now you only have 4 hours to get this done!
If one of my clients came to me and demanded to get this work done with such vague system & user requirements, I would tell them by all means to take there sorry project back where it came from.
In my case it’s not a client that’s demanding this but my self. I am the one that is constantly asking to get this done. Recently one of my projects has been getting a large amount of attention by my paying customers, I felt like I was doing wrong to all those paying individuals by sending them the course on the MEAN stack over the wire 800mb+ zip file on time of purchase, it was a horrible experience. Having a full course load at the University and trying to get all my goals done for this year and having to go to work, were could I find the time to get this project completed? I decided to set a hard deadline and work as fast as possible to get as much done in that 4 hour period to deliver so much value to each individual that decides to buy the guide on the MEAN stack that they will rave about how good the course is.
I got to work, and 4 hours later look at what we have —> learnmean.com a completely new revamped site ready to go, of course their is still some on going bugs, but overall it’s a much more better experience, for any one wanting to get started with building MEAN applications.
The moral of the story, it’s not to get to bogged down on all the reasons why something is to difficult to do or create but instead of thinking, just start doing. Looking at the project as it stands I can not help but to be in shock in how much I actually got done. If I was to tackle this very same project in a different language Ruby, PHP, or Java let’s just say it would alone take me 4 hours to setup my development environment and get a Hello world program going.
If you feel like you are up to the challenge to get started with the MEAN stack I would highly recommend you to check out my course , you will not be disappointed and if for what ever reason if you are not happy, I will personally refund your payment. This is how confident I feel that you will benefit from what I have to offer.
Best of luck.
Rick H.
PS: If you where one of the lucky individuals to purchase this course, I would like to send you a FREE activation code so you can start taking advantage of the new web portal just send me a quick email and I will get that setup for you.
