Can you help me trim the fat?

Evaluation:
I have never thought about evaluating a website, besides the obvious. You are doing all wrong websites and there is plenty of those out there. Don’t get that confused with them not hitting there goal, because if it did not work then their wouldn’t as many of those websites.
One of my close friends suggested to me if I would like to join her for a concert in San Francisco, California. I said happily I would love to, send me the link to the site so I can purchase my ticket, later that day I got a reply with the following site https://www.eventvibe.com/pages/main. One of main things that stuck out at me right away was the URL from the looks they might of used a wisy wigg editor to create the site just because the hierarchy of the pages follows that save convention of pages/thePageYouAreIn one major down fall of this is that who ever goes in here in the feature and wants to add pages, link to different parts of the site or completely change the structure of the is going to be having a huge headache. Besides having to fail organizing the site correctly they have multiple parts of there page where links just don’t work for example www.evenvibe.com gets you no where that’s the main site it should resolve its self to the “main” page, there is countless more links where they lead to no where. The second item that really sticks out, is that the site does not use the consistent menu it looks like they have two separate menus, they change as you navigate through the site, making hard to concentrate where you really are or where you need to be going giving you the sense that you are “lost” personally if I was running the business I would be shocked, if I was driving possible clients away. I am a big time sucker for color especially those bright neon ones, and I strongly believe they can be used correctly in the right context. This site creates a black canvas inside the site where the main content is displayed then it has this blue color as the background color. When I see this the first thing that comes to mind is did you choose one color from 8 choices or what. I think a better color could be used to help the site really use the bright color they decided to use. The last thing that I want to criticize is the heavy use of flash in the site it takes ridiculous amount of time to load some of the pages (50-70 seconds) some one that is looking for a ticket will long be long gone in 5 seconds.

Suggested Improvements:
I might be going a little harsh on the site. They do an ok job of presenting their current events and booking. But I think if some one could sit down and really take some time to organize and do the list of the following items it could go long ways.

-Improve file structure
-fix broken links
-remove flash/clean up
-increase speed of site
-create a constant menu for better flow of site
-choose a different background color
-remove whats not needed flashy menus
